Each year around this time, I update this list so that I can add new free patterns, check/update all the links and remove all the patterns that are no longer available for free (TIP: they don’t always stay free, so if you see a pattern you like, I recommend you download it!)
As always, the patterns include maximum size information and I do not ever include ‘One Size’ patterns. This year I have painstakingly reformatted the whole database to include an image for each pattern – making it more user friendly than ever before! It is my goal to improve on this list every year and am confident this is the best one yet.

Fabrics-Store.com – have absolutely loads of free patterns here on their site. Well worth a browse!
Make/Use – is a resource of zero-waste sewing patterns recommended by one of my readers. They all look so interesting!
Melly Sews – has loads of free patterns available here.
Mood Fabrics – has so many free patterns that I couldn’t possibly list them all, make a cup of tea and spend some time having a browse – lots of readers have recommended them!
Peppermint Magazine – I know I’ve mentioned it in every section but their sewing school page really is worth a browse if you are looking for a new project on zero budget. The patterns are all really well drafted by top designers in collaboration with Peppermint Magazine. I highly recommend checking them out and having a look through the full list! All the patterns are they are free for download from the website but since the pandemic has hit, Peppermint do ask for a small donation if you can afford it.
